Brian Kerns is a Shareholder whose passion for team sports in youth translated well to a career of representing and guiding individuals, businesses and insurers in their most difficult contests.  Mr. Kerns has vast and varied experience handling complex and catastrophic injury litigation. Although competitive by nature, Mr. Kerns' three decades of legal practice have been marked by candor and fairness with all parties.  He takes great pride in listening more than talking. Mr. Kerns has a passion for serving and partnering with his clients to quickly solve legal problems as a team.  A proven track record of successful trial outcomes provides the foundation for an artful ability to achieve prompt, cost effective resolutions of difficult problems.  His solid reputation among the bench and bar in Northern Ohio is the result of a career spent practicing law by the Golden Rule.

Mr. Kerns has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer for six straight years.  He further enjoys an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and in 2017 Brian is the President of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys and will serve as the President of the Medina County Bar Association in 2018.

Outside the practice of law, Mr. Kerns has a passion for family life with his wife of 32 years, Therese and their three children, Katherine, Elizabeth and Maximilian, all graduates of The Ohio State University.  Brian brings similar energy and passion to serving his clients.  In those rare spare moments between family and work life, Mr. Kerns serves as a course rater for Golfweek magazine's Best Courses and as a leader in several bar organizations.
